Photograph of Prince Edward of York (1894-1972), later the Duke of Windsor, standing in three-quarters right whilst holding the arms of a wheelbarrow in which Prince Albert of York (1895-1952), later King George VI, is sitting. Taken within the grounds of White Lodge. Both children wear sailors hats with a band around the rim that bears the name 'Britannia', the Royal Cutter built in 1893 for King Edward VII when Prince of Wales. The yacht was subsequently raced by Edward's son, King George V and was sank as he had wished, following his death in 1936.
